19.12.2011. Center of Ecologycal Systems and Technologies invites you to attend our 14th Annual Conference "Sustainable Development in Israel". The conference is held by financial support of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption and by support of the Absorption Authority of Municipality of Jerusalem.

25.12.2010. "Sustainable Development of Israel". System analysis – this brochure for Russian-speaking immigrants. This book was just published in Jerusalem. The scientific editors are Prof. Nonna Manusov and Dr. Efim Manusov.
The book was published by financial support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and by support of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, Municipality of Jerusalem, the Absorption Authority of Municipality of Jerusalem and Jerusalem Immigrant Community House.

23.12.2010. "Give the Nature a Chance!" – this exhibition of children's ecological paintings was held in "Harmony" Cultural Center at Hillel Str. 27 between 13 and 22 December.

1.10.2010. Center of Ecological Systems and Technologies, by support of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption and with participation of the Nature Museum in Jerusalem, are proud to open a new training course: Consultations on Israeli flora for new immigrants – naturalists and guides.

The course will take place as a part of the project "Ecological Education for New Immigrants". The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 13, from 4:00pm till 6:00pm in the Nature Museum in Jerusalem (Mogaliver Str. 6; buses 4, 4a, 18, 18a, 21; the bus stop following the Gan ha-Paamon on Emek Refaim Str.). The program of the meeting will include an excursion in the park of the Nature Museum: trees of the Mediterranean floral zone, and a seminar-discussion of the following meetings' program. The learder of the course is Dr. Tatyana Shimmel. The project manager is Prof. Nonna Manusov.

We called this project "Erez Yerukah" and it is dedicated to the memory of Yizhak and Talia Imas. The course will include lectures, seminars and discussion days, and excursions held by professional botanists.

Center of Ecological Systems and Technologies ("Ecost"), by financial support of the Ministry of Environment and of Absorption Authority of Municipality of Jerusalem, opens a project for children of new immigrants – a studio "Ecology and Art" and an exhibition of children's ecological paintings "Give the Nature a Chance". 1.06.2010. "Ecost" Association together with Talpiot Mizrach Community Center (Matnas) starts a new project "Public Garden" – a cource of practical gardening for new immigrants who wish to develop and beautify their neighborhood and their city. The course is held every Thursday from 5:00pm till 7:00pm in a public garden on Kedushei Bavel Str. in front of a Clalit clinic. The course leader is Michael Kuman, a professional garderner having large work experience in Jerusalem.

1.11.2009. "Ecost" Association conducts a Course of Applied Botanics: growing plants in public gardens, on balconies, inside appartments as a part of the project "Ecological education for new immigrants". The instructor in the course is Tatyana Shimmel, the project manager is Prof. Nonna Manusov.

26.06.2009. Prize giving ceremony to the winners of the contest “Jerusalem in Aliyah” 2009 took place on June 25. Two members of Ecost were among the winners: President Prof. Nonna Manusov and Prof. Anatoly Gordinsky. They received commemorative prizes and certificates of merit of the Ministry of Absorption and of Jerusalem municipality. Among the ceremony guests, there were the Minister of Absorption Sofia Landver, Mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat, Managing Director of the Ministry of Absorption Dmitri Apartsev, and Deputy Mayor on Aliyah and Absorption Masha Novikov.
